Online advertising has become a significant field in marketing today. It allows you to show your ads to people who are likely to be interested in your products and services, while filtering out those who are not. You are also able to track whether or not those people clicked your ads. Essentially, online advertising gives you the opportunity to reach a wider range of potential customers, as everyone nowadays has a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone they can use to be present online.

One great online advertising tool is Google Ads. It gives you the benefits of online advertising by targeting your ads to the right audience, in the right place, and at the right time. Google ads offers different ways of targeting such as keywords, location, language, etc. Google Ads also gives you control over how much you spend, as in there is no minimum. You can choose how much to pay per month, per day, and per ad. You will only pay if someone clicks your ad. In fact, when someone clicks your ad, you will know. You can also track whether they actually valuably contributed to your business (Ex. Bought your product, downloaded your app, placed an order, etc.). By seeing which ads get clicks and which do not, you can tell where to invest your marketing efforts.

Now, how do you set up a Google Ad? First, you go to (https://ads.google.com/home/). From there, you will need to sign in through your Gmail account to get started. Then it will take you to a page that will ask you the goals of your ad.

Next, you will have to input your products or services, so they can better understand your business and target audience.

Then, you will set up the display of your ad. This includes the headline captions, descriptions, and the link to where you want customers to be directed to.

The next step in the process is to define your budget. Google Ads provided suggestions, but you can always make your own custom budget.

Finally, you set up billings or how you are going to pay. This last step shows a full review of all the options you selected, so you can go over the information to check if everything is correct before creating the ad. And that ladies and gentlemen is how you make a Google Ad!
